It's Time to Take Action, TOGETHER

We are all part of the change; we are all part of the solution.
International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is upon us. It has only been a matter of weeks since the height of the sustainable development buzz, and this weekend we have yet another chance to reflect on what’s in store for the next 15 years.
International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is a time to make known the destruction and injustice that still runs rampart throughout the world. While awareness at a global level is important, it is action that is truly needed. That action must be now, in this moment, if real, long-term change is to occur. That is why the new Global Goals aim to encourage the global population (governments, NGOs and the public alike) to stand up in united support. It cannot be only a few of us that finish the job of enabling people to lift themselves out of poverty – it must be all.
We at emerge poverty free seek this cooperation on a daily basis. In fact, we believe it is crucial to the success of our many projects, which have seen communities flourish with the help of our supporters time and time again. Our WASH projects are keeping children healthy and in school, making it possible for them to realise their potential and escape poverty for good. This way they are capable of breaking the cycle of poverty that has continued for far too long.
We are all part of the change; we are all part of the solution. Poverty can meet its end sooner than expected, but it will take the support of you, us and the rest of the world.
Help us make this a reality. Your support for us can come in a variety of ways, many of which can be found on our Support Us page. These include donations, attending events, volunteering or simply telling your friends about our projects so action can be taken in greater numbers. The stronger we are going into 2016, the more we can accomplish in the years to come.
